TITLE: Benefit and HRIS Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Benefit and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager at Tasteful Selections LLC, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing employee benefits programs and HR systems. This position serves as a technical point-of-contact for information systems supporting HR, and develops, implements, and modifies systems based on business requirements. You will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating various benefit plans, ensuring compliance with multi-state and federal regulations, and providing expert guidance to employees regarding their benefits. Has a deep understanding of benefit policies, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
RELATIONSHIP:
This position reports directly to the Sr HR Manager and works closely with all site managers, corporate leaders, and executives.

- Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000
- Location: Hybrid/Remote
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of employee benefit programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Verify and reconcile benefits data to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with insurance providers and benefit vendors to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and optimize benefit offerings.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and flexible spending accounts
- Assist in the design and implementation of new benefit programs, making recommendations based on industry trends and employee needs.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of benefits data, making necessary corrections and updates.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, providing clear and concise explanations and solutions.
- Stay informed about changes in benefit laws and regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance and timely adjustments to policies.
- Generate reports and analytics on benefit utilization, costs, and employee satisfaction, presenting findings to HR leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver employee education programs on benefits.
- Holding meetings to discuss the details of a benefits program with employees and orientating new employees in terms of benefits.
- Coordinating staff workshops after identifying effective and innovative ways to communicate about benefits.
- Manages data related to employees and business functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
- Experience in HRIS database, architecture, configuration, troubleshooting and communicating technical and conceptual information effectively with end-users.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in benefit, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of multi-state benefit regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex benefit concepts to employees.
- Proficient in UKG (Ultipro) and benefit administration software.
- Strong analytical skills in reconciling benefits reports and invoices in order to resolve discrepancies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee information.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of benefits administration.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and policies related to benefits.
- People-oriented, approachable, results-driven.
- Travel Requirements: Kern County, California residents will be required to work a hybrid schedule.
