As a Federally Qualified Health Center with a focus on integrated, primary care, we believe that every human has the right to access whole health. We have locations in Amherst, Huntington, and Worthington, as well as a school-based health center at Gateway Regional Middle/High School and a Community Center in Huntington.
A day in the life of this role:
In this hybrid role, the Behavioral Health Clinician will report to the Director of Behavioral Health and will work to provide comprehensive, integrated, quality Behavioral Health care to HCHC patients, including on campus at our school-based programs. Typical responsibilities include providing and documenting all patient psychological assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and psychotherapy/ counseling, collaborating with the Behavioral Health Care Coordinators to submit insurance re-authorizations and complete EHR encounter notes, and provide crisis intervention, case management, and referral services to patients as appropriate. The Behavioral Health Clinician will collaborate and work integratively with all medical providers, Behavioral Health Coordinators, and the Behavioral Health Director to improve overall patient care as well as schedule productivity.

What we need from you:
Master’s degree.
Current license to practice independently in Massachusetts or to provide service under the direct supervision of an LICSW.
Ability to establish effective, positive working relationships, internal and external to the Organization.
Ability to conduct oneself within established professional and ethical boundaries.
