Vinfen's Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) is a new and innovative approach to Behavioral Health care. As a CBHC Outpatient Clinician, using evidence-based practices, you will provide outpatient therapeutic interventions to people experiencing mental health or co-occurring disorders and/or Behavioral Health concerns.
As a clinician, you will be part of a comprehensive team of clinicians, bachelor level counselors, recovery coaches, peers and much more. In addition to outpatient services, the CBHC includes adult and youth mobile crisis services (MCI), crisis stabilization CCS), and psychopharmacology including medication assisted treatments. The CBHC will support individuals and families in new ways, reducing emergency room usage for Behavioral Health, increasing flexibility of service delivery through bundled payments, provide seamless access to outpatient, urgent and crisis interventions, psychopharmacology, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and increased use of social supports and community-based staff.
The CBHC Outpatient Clinician will also:
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions and support services, in person and by telehealth, to clients using evidenced-based practices.
- Conduct intake evaluations and on-going assessment to develop treatment plans and determine appropriate interventions.
- Maintain a caseload of clients, with an appropriate frequency of interventions, that supports divisional/clinic productivity requirements.
- Serve on the Multidisciplinary Team for Utilization Reviews, as directed.
- Provide clinical consultation when needed.
- Ensure recordkeeping/documentation in accordance with internal and external requirements and regulations.
- Participate in regular Quality Improvement and Utilization Review activities consistent with the Behavioral Health Division's policies and practices.
- Coordinate treatment and care with other providers as appropriate.
- Work as liaison between Vinfen programs, state agencies, funding sources, and community referral sources.
- Participate in educational trainings as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and contracted payor requirements.
- Communicate and network with community providers and collaterals to increased access to care/promote ambulatory care.
- Provide services to children, adults, families, and/or groups.
- Provide after-hours on-call coverage in rotation with other program staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field
- Massachusetts license required (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW)
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
- 3 - 5 years of experience working with adults with persistent psychiatric conditions or co-occurring disorders
- Strong time management organizational skills, self motivator, strong writing skills and general computer skills.
- All candidates must be able to successfully pass a multi-state CORI, SORI, reference check, education verification, and credentialing check
