Banquet/Private Events Chef
Description: The Banquet/Private Events Chef will be responsible for working
directly with the Executive Chef to professionally execute banquets of high volume
in our Enchantment Event Center and additional Private Dining Spaces. The
Banquet & Private Events Chef will report directly to the Executive Chef and assist
with other aspects of our food service and leadership, such as the resort
restaurant, and various outlets as needed.
Venue: The Inn at Taughannock Falls is a luxury boutique hotel and event center.
Located next to the tallest vertical drop waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains, and
across from Cayuga Lake, the heart of the Finger Lakes wine country, this property
boasts the premier wedding services in the region and consistent full occupancy in
the hotel and restaurant in-season.
Requirements:
Positive attitude and hardworking mentality
Willingness to help out and be flexible
5+ years performing banquets/private events
10+ years professional cooking experience
Ability to start immediately and relocate as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,600.00 per week
