Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all banquet events, demonstrating expertise in large-scale event execution.
- Mentor and train banquet team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance banquet operations efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Manage pre-event preparations, including staff assignments, meetings, and client consultations.
- Direct day-of event operations, ensuring seamless execution and resolving any issues promptly.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and exceeding expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to coordinate event logistics and enhance communication.
- Design innovative floor plans to optimize space utilization and enhance guest experience.
- Conduct comprehensive server training programs, emphasizing excellence in service standards.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as payroll management, budgeting, and record-keeping.
- Represent the banquet department in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Travel to different venues as necessary to support event operations and maintain quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification required.
- Minimum seven years of banquet service experience, with significant experience in a managerial role.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong customer service focus.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and implement improvements.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule availability to accommodate event needs.
