JOB SUMMARY
The Ballpark Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, integration and
maintenance of our broadcast and IT systems. Individuals must have an extensive background
in video, audio, and network engineering. The Ballpark Infrastructure Engineer must exhibit an
ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to delegate responsibilities and tasks to other team members and field staff.
Ability to read and comprehend CAD drawings, blueprints and technical drawings.
Hands on experience with audio/video switching, connectivity, routing, terminations and
signal flow.Must be proficient with computers on MAC and PC interfaces, and basic networking.
Self-motivated and highly organized.
Ability to solve unexpected problems and challenges in the field.
5+ years in a broadcast environment preferred.
Must be calm under pressure and able to triage and prioritize tasks with flexibility and
quick response time.Excellent time management skills.
Able to individually work collaboratively with multiple teams remotely and succinctly
Up to 85% travel, occasionally on a last-minute basis
Occasional evening and weekend work
Must be able to walk on catwalks, climb ladders up to 24' tall and lift up to 50 lbs
Video cable, soldering and fiber termination skills
Must possess a valid driver's license and passport
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage, install and configure systems based on system design and understand
end-user functionality.Conduct site surveys to verify equipment locations, cabling and infrastructure
requirements.Work with local subcontractors and vendors on purchasing, installation, and equipment
support.Generate design solutions and evaluations on current systems.
Maintain documentation on all system builds and facilities.
Work with on-site tech team to identify and finalize punch list items.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies.
Proactive system maintenance and regular status reporting.
Program and configuration of broadcast systems.
All other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York and Washington the pay transparency range for this role is $70,000 - $120,000. This pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
