About the position:
Liberty Source is seeking aB2B Trade Show and Marketing Manager who will own the planning, executing, and post-event reporting for multiple B2B tradeshows, events, and large-scale meetings throughout the United States. Candidates must be highly organized, experienced with hands-on management of events at large conference and exposition venues, focused on driving measurable results while delivering experiences that reinforce the company’s market-facing brand, and exhibit presentation and communication skills to augment the booth staff when needed. This person must be comfortable working within a fast-paced environment with internal and external stakeholders who are vital to the company’s revenue production.
Location:
Remote - U.S. East Coast (candidates living in Eastern time zone only)
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and support tradeshow and event management functions.
· Coordinate the planning and logistics of Trade Shows/events/meetings.
· Manage all Trade Show/event supplier relationships to deliver programs, services, and support resources to meet and exceed expectations and provide memorable experiences.
· Curate B2B Tradeshow and event requests and recommend participation level
· Create and manage time and action calendar for tradeshow and event deadlines (assortment, displays, graphics, etc.)
· Coordinate the logistics of exhibit properties, including maintenance of the Trade Show exhibit, demonstration equipment, and all accessories.
· Align resources to support all events, including communications, speakers, AV equipment and staging, registration, hotel arrangements, giveaways and gifts, etc.
· Work closely with the Marketing Manager to provide best practices, templates, etc., to foster effective internal / external communication about upcoming events.
· Provide regular updates to keep all stakeholders abreast of upcoming events and deadlines.
· Responsible for employee and guest registrations and the retrieval of attendee data.
· Manage the inventory of promo items for internal/external events
· Provide post-event analyses, including key metrics.
· Recognize opportunities to sponsor conference sessions that align with marketing goals.
· Assist with additional duties as requested.
Knowledge & Experience:
· MUST HAVE at least 3-5 years of experience managing large-scale B2B events and tradeshows.
· Familiarity with third-party equipment storage/fulfillment vendors
· Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, one or more CRM platforms, and basic project management tools.
· Working knowledge of standard graphic design programs.
· Membership in a meeting association (MPI, PCMA, CEMA, etc.) is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
Travel Requirements:
This is a remote position requiring work from home, and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time, frequently with one or more overnight stays.
Occasional travel to the office for meetings/events will also be required.
