Project Manager - Events
Job Description Overview: Serve as a single point of communication for a federal agency. The Project Manager receives schedules, assignments, and tasks from the contracting officer's representative, and from the existing technical assistance system. This role requires a person with a strong ability to organize, complete paperwork in a timely manner and manage a team of event technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as main contact
- Assign tasks to team
- Oversee execution of tasks and deliverables
- Provide training and guidance to team
- Respond to escalated requests
- Participate in coordination meetings
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting
- Participate in supporting high - profile meetings
- Provide weekly and monthly reports
- Coordinates additional support upon request
- CTS certification
- Serve as a senior level AV technician and assists in the execution of tasks when necessary.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment; deliver quality work with a high sense of urgency and accountability
- Successful project management skills; detailed oriented, ability to keep all key players “in the know” and successfully move a project through to completion by foreseeing and planning for upcoming needs/resources, as well as removing barriers and obstacles
- Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to have tact, patience and courtesy when communicating and interacting with others
- Service oriented; desire and ability to deliver and even exceed customer’s expectations
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to clearly convey message in a professional manner
- Strong Technical Background
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- MS Office experience preferred
· A valid driver’s license and ability to pass an extensive background check.
Work Environment
Work is performed in various environments with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members will use high-end equipment and electrical components and may be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members will be asked to work in multiple locations. . Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by PAV.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
