CRi, a prominent non-profit organization spanning Northern Virginia, Richmond Virginia, and Maryland, is committed to delivering high-quality services aimed at empowering individuals with diverse disabilities to achieve greater independence. As we approach our 50th anniversary, we stand on the brink of significant expansion. Our strategic growth plan, both internally and externally, holds the promise of doubling our agency's size, expanding our service reach, increasing our beneficiary base, and modernizing all facets of our operations.
In light of these ambitions, CRi is in search of a seasoned, dynamic, and skilled individual to fill the crucial role of Project Manager. Over the coming months and years, this role will spearhead the establishment and launch of new facilities across Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, while developing and furthering external partnerships. Additionally, the incumbent will lead the development and execution of multiple marquee events each year. Furthermore, the role will entail managing the transition of several key internal processes from their current state to cutting-edge, AI-integrated platforms, ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives;
    • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
    • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path;
    • Collaborate with key personnel throughout the organization to ensure that assigned projects meet agreed upon delivery dates and jeopardy items are escalated quickly and without delay and contingency plans identified;
  • Ensure that all work carried out by internal and external resources is completed according to the project's standards, specifications, schedule, and budget.
  • As appropriate, ensure that all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements are identified and fully complied with and satisfied.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure the seamless integration and allocation of financial resources.
  • Monitor project performance against the planned budget and established timeline, working to correct variances and inefficiencies while managing against scope creep.
  • Identify and tightly manage risk associated with assigned projects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Develop, communicate, and present project status reports regularly and as requested. Develop, recommend, and engage corrective action plans, as necessary.
  • Proactively partner with the clinical, property and administrative teams in the development, execution and, as appropriate, the transition of new properties/programs/events/initiatives into the ongoing management processes.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (40hrs) **Evening and Weekend hours will be necessary, as determined by the nature of the project and/or management team.
Annual Compensation: $64,000 with upward mobility based on skills and experience
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience required, including Project Managerial responsibilities.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • Previous work experience with or on behalf of individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities and/or mental illnesses preferred.
  • The ability to work with multiple partners constructively, assertively, and effectively and to engage current and potential stakeholders with a goal of ensuring customer satisfaction across levels.
  • Strong organizational, research, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail; outstanding written and oral communication skills; demonstrated skill in developing presentations, spreadsheets, budgets, and timelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and project management software applications.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Physical Demands:
  • Requires light and/or heavy lifting.
  • Extensive driving at times.

Working Environment:
  • Office, residential home, and community.
  • Frequent travel within Virginia, District of Columbia, and Maryland.
