Availability to work 100% on Clients site in Tallahassee, FL
(required);
Technical or business work experience (3-5 years);
Experience working as a Business Analyst using both Agile and
Waterfall (3+ years);
Experience with business and technical requirements analysis,
business process modeling/mapping, and methodology development;
Experience with Azure Cloud;
Experience in business process design and re-engineering;
Experience communicating and working within cross-departmental
teams, strong collaborative skills;
Experience with Microsoft Visio;
Experience preparing status reports and providing management
briefings;
Leadership experience;
Experience providing business analysis in a criminal justice
environment (preferred);
Experience working with Law Enforcement Agencies and
associated security requirements (preferred);
Experience with IT standards in a criminal justice environment
(preferred);
Experience using the Offender Based Information System (OBIS)
(preferred);
Experience with state government projects (preferred);
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (preferred);
Bachelors Degree, from an accredited college/university, in
Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or four
(4) years of equivalent work experience.
Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to the following:
Lead and/or assist Department staff in business requirements
gathering sessions (JADs);
Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and IT software
developers to document business requirements;
Develop as-is, to-be, and other required business analysis
documentation;
Develop and lead implementation of business process improvement
recommendations;
Serve as a liaison with Department users;
Follow standard set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality
of project artifacts;
Manage the expectations of diverse stakeholders and provide
regular briefings to OIT Leadership;
Work independently as part of a larger cross-functional team.
