General Description
The purpose of the Business Analyst I is to play a crucial role in driving efficiency, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making within the assigned departments. The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing operational data, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. The Business Analyst I will also help with monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Essential Functions

1. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
2. Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in operations processes. Develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
3. KPI Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operational processes and make data-driven recommendations.
4. Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive operational reports and dashboards for management review.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that operational processes adhere to established standards and best practices. Conduct audits and assessments as needed.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of operational procedures, policies, and workflows.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as Finance, Customer Service, and IT to drive operational excellence and support company-wide initiatives.
8. Technology Utilization: Leverage technology and software tools to streamline operations and enhance data analysis.
9. Problem Solving: Identify and address operational challenges proactively, proposing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
10. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to operations management.
11. All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience demonstrating the candidate's ability to perform successfully in this position will be considered.

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
2. Proven experience in operations analysis, process improvement, or a related role.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
4. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or data visualization software.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
6. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
7. Knowledge of operations management principles and best practices.
8. Experience with process modeling and documentation tools is a plus.
9. Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
10. Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
11. Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Class E Driver's License.
