Mirak Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Parts Manager to lead our team!
The Manager's duties include assuring that there is consistent operational and process execution in all aspects of part ordering, tracking, and receiving. Additionally, this position will require the Parts Manager to be able to develop individuals to deliver in a results driven environment. This role will work specifically to develop and lead the sales teams and all support associates to assure that they deliver the performance results expected from their assigned duties. We are a family-owned group since 1936. We stock and sell parts from Chevrolet, Hyundai, and Genesis. Responsibilities:
- Oversee staff and department sales of parts to meet monthly forecasts and profitability.
- Review sales, costs, and inventory monthly to ensure objectives are met.
- Hiring, training, motivating, and ensuring performance of Parts Department staff
- Ensure inventory is available when needed by the Service and Collision depts.
- Must communicate special order receipt to clients to maintain high Customer Satisfaction
- Establish pricing to generate profits and maintain high Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure that inventory systems are performing well.
- Oversee the issuing of parts and accessories to technicians from the Parts Counters
- Confirming that parts are appropriately coded so the dealership can claim a complete refund for unused factory stock.
- Adjusting stock to curtail accumulation of unused or old parts.
- Team-oriented. Interact with dealership department management and outside Parts vendors.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of Automotive Parts management experience
- Computer proficient
- Excellent customer service skills
- Dealer Track DMS experience a plus
- Hyundai/GM experience a plus
- Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task
- Self-motivated enthusiastic presence in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Professional work ethic
