F&I Manager

Coastal Dealerships is seeking an Automotive Finance Manager to join our team. The F&I manager works closely with the sales team to produce revenue for the dealership by selling finance & insurance products to new and used vehicle customers.

F&I Managers at our dealership receive a generous pay plan based on experience and typically take home around $185,000 annually! Weekend availability is required, however, on average, our F&I Managers work a 40–45-hour work week unlike those other dealerships where you’re expected to put in 60 hours a week .

In addition to having a background in the business, the ideal F&I Manager candidate will have a high-energy, outgoing personality with superior customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Responsible for all paperwork involved with the sale of the vehicle, including obtaining customer signatures & securing payoff & insurance information.
• Checks all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes etc., before forwarding to the accounting department
• Generates additional income through the sale of a variety of products including vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, environmental protection plans and other value-added products.
• Maintains a good working relationship with our lending sources, including the manufacturer.
• Processes finance & lease deals accurately & fairly through financial sources to secure approval.
• Provides customers with complete explanation of manufacturer & dealership service procedures & policies.
• Provides sales team & sales managers with current information about finance & lease programs continually.
• Takes all credit applications & handles rate quotations.
• Monitor contracts in transit to ensure funding in a timely fashion
• Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state & local regulations that affect vehicle sales
