Essential Functions:
- troubleshooting various robot cells
- programming of new product into existing cells
- Experience interfacing with customers.
- Excellent Microsoft Office 2010 skills, especially Word & Excel.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Detail oriented individual.
- Manage various automation/equipment projects as required. Includes, but not limited to preparation of project descriptions and
- specifications, collection and review of quotations, selection of contractors/vendors, and coordination of contractor/vendor
- activities.
- Improve reliability and performance of production equipment and implement resultant changes.
- Experience working on projects for suppliers to the major automotive companies.
- Experience doing concepts for automation systems.
- Experience processing different automated assembly methods.

- 5-8 years or related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read PLC and electrical prints.
- Experience with injection molding machines and their function and knowledge of robotic controls.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as multiplication and division, work with mathematical tools within an electronic spreadsheet for further business case assessments.
- 2+ years' experience in plastics preferred but not required.
- 2+ years' experience in robotics required.
- PLC/Vision programming experience preferred.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
