Automation Engineer - Heavy Industrial Experience Required - Entry-Level

Experience and abilities you will need:

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineer.
• Must have a minimum of 1 years' experience working as an Automation Engineer in a Heavy Industrial environment.
• 2 years of experience in Automation cement process; 3 years' experience 5's KPI's, preferred.
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC, Allen Bradley PLC5, Siemens S7
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley RIO, Ethernet TCPIP, Modbus TCPIP, Modbus RTU, Device Net, ControlNet communications
• Working experience with Factory Talk VIEW, or any other HMI/MMI
• High performance and 5's methodology

What you will do:
Supports the Automation Engineer and/or Maintenance Manager to maintain the engineering systems for the automation of the plant and assure continuous operation. Supports operations teams during normal plant operations and troubleshooting processes. Analysis of electronic and automation equipment using Continuous Improvement (CI) and High Performance (HP) methodology to detect potential areas of improvement, select the adequate instruments equipment and controls for the application and implementation of solutions. Review, change, when necessary, equipment starts sequences, and interlocking while maintaining 5S KPIs
