Summary
We are looking for a Test and Automation Engineer with experience developing test plans and fixtures to support product development reliability testing, and end-of-line testing. The ideal candidate will have background in developing LabVIEW programs, writing test scripts, and experience in fixture design for the entire product lifecycle, including PCBAs.
- Design and develop test fixtures and automated test equipment for PCBs and electronic assemblies
- Work with Senior Engineers to develop and maintain LabVIEW test systems to automate and streamline engineering laboratory product testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop test plans to ensure quality
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate testing into the product development cycle
- Create and maintain automated test scripts test fixtures
- Design and implement test fixtures for the entire product lifecycle, including design, manufacturing, and service
- Ensure that all testing equipment and software is properly calibrated and maintained
- Analyze and report test results to the development team and make recommendations for improvements
- Participate in product design reviews to identify potential quality issues early in the development cycle
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Experience utilizing LabVIEW programming preferred
- Familiarity with testing of PCBAs and electronic assemblies
- Experience designing and implementing test fixtures for the entire product lifecycle, including design, manufacturing, and service preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to testing and quality control
Education and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
