About This Opportunity
As a QA Automation Engineer, the candidate is responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests, debugging and defining corrective actions to ensure the quality of 7NOW Marketplace and Skipcart products is top notch and enhances the customer experience. Candidate must be able to monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. This is a dynamic, highly diverse team, and we are passionate about embodying a culture of positivity.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Quality assurance (QA) which includes Manual and Automation testing with hands on experience in all phases of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Extensive work experience in all stages of STLC & expertise in Functional, Progression & Regression Testing methods for API, Web and Mobile apps
- Ability to do log and database analysis to provide additional context to issues
- Build & execute automation framework to increase efficiency, accuracy and speed of the project deliverables.
EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 6+ years

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Experience writing test cases and performing functional, non-functional and regression testing
- Expertise in Java, SQL Server, Postgres
- Experience writing test cases for APIs and executing them
- Experience in automation testing of Android and iOS applications
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD), and related tools
- Goodunderstanding of microservices and event driven architecture
- Experience with Performance and Load testing
- Experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment using templates
- Experience with cloud based infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
- Experience doing log analysis using logs, Kibana, New-Relic
- Ability to be in the Irving office 5 days a week
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- This role is based in Irving TX 7-Eleven offices. Candidate must be local or open to relocation
