Job summary:
As an Aumni - LP Sales Development Representative (SDR) within the Aumni venture sales team, you will be responsible for building outbound sales strategies that target institutional investors (LPs). You will work in conjunction with other departments at Aumni and our LP sales team to understand a firm's operations, open up conversations, and develop and execute comprehensive outreach strategies to build sales pipeline. Your role will be crucial in representing Aumni’s products and services, developing strong trusted relationships with prospective buyers in the LP ecosystem, and assisting the Account Executive & the greater sales team in understanding the customer’s buying process.
Job responsibilities:
- Create innovative & unique outreach strategies to build interest among the largest institutional LPs in the world (Family Offices, Pension Funds, Endowments, etc.)
- Represent Aumni’s products and services using comprehensive knowledge to explain how our solutions work in the private markets ecosystem
- Determining the appropriate internal resources required at Aumni to further accelerate our LP product
- Developing strong trusted relationships with prospective buyers in the LP ecosystem
- Help Account Executive manage, maintain, and nurture a pipeline of interested prospects in Aumni’s LP offering
- Assist the Account Executive & the greater sales team in understanding the customer’s buying process so that they can navigate hurdles (pricing, legal and technical review, etc.) and get a contract executed in a timely manner
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability in prior role in startup/tech, investing, or consulting role
- Comfortable communicating with decision makers (c-suite, partner-level, etc.)
- Clear, concise communication skills
- Creative and ambitious mindset, and interest in being an early contributor and team player in an expanding sales organization
- Deep intellectual curiosity and motivation to improve the state of private capital markets
- Competitive and driven to achieve goals
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, demanding, and high-pressure environment
- Experience in using CRM systems & prospecting software (i.e. Salesforce, Outreach.io)

- Experience working in a B2B SaaS organization
