About the Business Development RepresentativeGoogle Workspace:

MarketStar is seeking an Business Development Representative to support our Google Workspace team. These agents will support Account Managers within the SMB segment, calling into existing customers within specified usage segments. Agents will outreach to these customers, identify + create opportunities with detailed needs analysis, and hand off to the right Google Account Manager for processing and closure. The main KPI is pipeline quality as defined by acceptance rate of opportunity and win rate.

Location: Salt Lake City, UT - Hybrid (After training has been completed, in office expectation will be 1 day a month.)

What will you do?

  • Working toward daily activity goals: new opportunities identified, outbound calls made, decision makers contacted, leads qualified,
  • Qualify leads in/out quickly and accurately
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest offering/product/service information.
  • Capture, track, and advance qualified leads in Salesforce CRM and maintain accurate information to provide forecasting and pipeline updates
  • Contribute to the team's knowledge base, including identifying areas for process
  • Maintain pipeline and opportunity status consistently via CRM system
  • Set up new meetings to hand off to Account Managers with detailed needs analysis
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quota of qualified leads

What Will You Need to Succeed?:

  • At least 6 month of relevant work experience
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment
  • Experience working in sales environment
  • Knowledge of CRM system
  • Analytical mindset and go-getter attitude; self-motivated to achieve personal goals and goals set for the team
  • Proven success in generating leads and experience cold calling and presenting sales pitches.
  • Organized and has pipeline management, time management skills and prioritization skills
  • Diploma, bachelor's degree preferred
