This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary and highly collaborative individual to grow and develop an innovative Anesthesiology residency in an unique highly supportive environment. The UConn residency program educates Anesthesiology residents at UConn John Dempsey Hospital, Hartford Hospital, St. Francis Hosptial, and Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Faculty at each site are passionate about education and highly supportive of the academic mission. Major goals for the RPD to achieve include:

2 Working closely with educational leaders at each site, integrating them into the administration and accomplishment of the educational mission
3. Develop and codify a written lecture syllabus for the 3 year educational continuum that fulfills all the required ACGME milestones
4. Coordinating residency recruitment and selection process
5. Develop innovative educational strategies and new rotations and educational opportunities for our residents and fellows.
Why UConn Health
UConn Health is a vibrant, integrated academic medical center that is entering an era of unprecedented growth in all three areas of its mission: academics, research, and clinical care. A commitment to human health and well-being has been of utmost importance to UConn Health since the founding of the University of Connecticut schools of Medicine and Dental Medicine in 1961. Based on a strong foundation of groundbreaking research, first-rate education, and quality clinical care, we have expanded our medical missions over the decades. In just over 50 years, UConn Health has evolved to encompass more research endeavors, to provide more ways to access our superior care, and to innovate both practical medicine and our methods of educating the practitioners of tomorrow.
