Job description

Job Overview:
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for an Associate Revenue Operations Coordinator to be responsible for the day-to-day operational efficiency of our Services division. Working very closely with Sales, Contract Administration, Billing and the Services delivery teams, you will maintain the overall tracking of all Professional Services projects, monitor project health, and ensure the accuracy of the monthly revenue recognition and invoicing process. You will also contribute to special projects that include reporting and tools development.

What You’ll Do
  • Data entry and/or validation of recent services sold in Professional Services automation tool
  • Respond to general support tickets for the CX organization
  • Audit implementation project entries for accuracy and consistency
  • Contribute to developing and enhancing new processes across the Services Operations team and Professional Services in general
  • Identify, communicate, and assist with workflow/system improvements
  • Work with peers in Services Operations to facilitate cross-training and load balancing
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize information, in report form, across divisions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client invoicing and billing issues

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work hybrid (once a week) from Chicago office preferred, or remotely from an Applied Systems office

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • 0-2 years of experience in Operations, Finance, Accounting, or Professional Services
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel; understanding of basic functions such as formulas required – experience with Pivot Tables helpful
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude, a high degree of accuracy is required
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to work proactively and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed
  • Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience

Additionally, you may have:

  • Experience with administering and optimizing a Professional Services Automation platform, such as NetSuite OpenAir helpful but not required
