The Assoc Director of Revenue Management & Operations is an influential business and team leader who is responsible for attainment of Commercial Excellence for the Mizkan America’s portfolio of products. This is a highly visible and collaborative role will lead the Revenue Growth Management implementation / execution and have major impact on the strategies that drive those decisions. Execution includes retail realization of our RGM strategy, as well as responsibility for the sales operation’s functions of our organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and develop a team of managers, support analysts / administrators who support the broader sales organization.
- Collaborates with other functional stake holders to create the revenue growth management strategies including channel pricing, price pack architecture, product mix management and promotional strategy/ trade optimization.
- Helps maximize sales effectiveness through reporting and analysis of key metrics and performance that to support revenue growth management function.
- Design, develop, and maintain new reporting tools, sales systems, and dashboards to support better planning, performance measurement, and KPI attainment on a regular basis and communicate performance trends to sales teams.
- Manage and enhance processes related to business operations with cross functional teams: Broker Contracts & Monthly Commissions calculation and payment; Deduction Management & Reporting of Commercial Policies, Reporting (Daily Sales Reporting, Trade Pro Reporting, SCEP/Bracket Pricing monitoring and score-carding) and Mizkan Intranet Content/Access.
- Owns administration of Microsoft D365 & TradePro (Trade Planning) activities: D365 loading of pricing, customer hierarchy, all new products and promotion families. This is done in collaboration with MDM (Master Data and IT teams).
- Communication of updates required by field associates and Mizkan Americas customers (i.e.: pricing actions, allocations, policy adjustments, etc.)
- Collaborate to design, harmonize, and implement Mizkan commercial polices (terms, unsalable, SCEP, etc.) across our portfolio.
- Develops strategies and tactics to strengthen knowledge and learning (training) across sales organization inclusive of best in class and effective utilization of a TPM system and promotional effectiveness.
- Trade Pro: owner of implementation strategies and maintenance, inclusive of agency relationships.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in business-related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in the CPG industry
- Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple responsibilities and people in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in Revenue Management function in particular promotion and trade optimization and implementation with a field sale organization
- Strong competency working with systems (D365/ Product-Customer-Sales Hierarchies, Trade planning, TPM etc.), Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word,) and working knowledge of syndicated resources (Nielsen / IRI).
