The Opportunity

Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Global Revenue Management Operations and Training Manager to join our Global Revenue Management Team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Revenue team, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

The global REVENUE MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS AND TRAINING manager supports the director and works with all hotels in all global regions, both full and select services. This position is responsible for all aspects of OPERATIONS AND TRAINING. The position also creates standard operating procedures, provides strategic guidance, participates in the execution of strategies, and operationalizes special offers and promotions, and any other REVENUE MANAGEMENT programs. The position also liaises with Data Services, Marketing Operations, RMS Support, and many other departments. In addition, this position helps design, develop, deploy, and train all REVENUE MANAGEMENT systems and related applications regarding RMS, RMT, CRS, and PMS. This manager works with REVENUE MANAGEMENT’s external partners and vendors to create training, provide support, and develop enhancements that benefit Hyatt users. This position also provides REVENUE MANAGEMENT training across other disciplines such as sales, events, and operations.

  • This is a remote position.
  • Support all hotels in all global regions in all aspects of REVENUE MANAGEMENT standards, procedures, technologies, and partners.
  • Participates in the design, development, and deployment of all RM-related systems.
  • Create and deliver training for all aspects of RM: Systems, strategies, onboarding/training, continued education.
  • Develop and maintain an RM standards handbook for all hotels globally, support and adhere to these standards.
  • Create standard operating procedures and guidelines for rates, promotions, and packages.
  • Facilitates RM Training classes for existing systems and new Hyatt PrO.
  • Facilitates and Tests new RM enhancements and roll-out training.
  • Create visual learning for all hotels globally for all RM functions needed.
  • Participate as SME (Subject Matter Expert) on related system developments and enhancements.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Hyatt Property or Corporate experience in Revenue or Reservations.
  • High School education is required.
  • Must have Prior (RMS), RMT (Rate Management Tool), Opera, and Reserve Experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must be highly skilled in PRIO and Reserve. Opera experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment and work independently with high efficiency and professionalism.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to creatively solve problems.
  • Must be open-minded and able to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and champion change.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and when necessary, act as sole decision maker when interacting with hotels.
  • Schedule flexibility is required up to and including the occasional evening and weekend hours.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for training sessions stated above.
  • Ability to relate to students and deliver authentic, experienced-based training with knowledge to go into live systems for demonstrations and examples in both a live and virtual environment.

Experience Preferred:

  • Ideas G3 experience preferred.
  • College/bachelor’s degree preferred.
