Position Overview

As the Associate Product Marketing Manager, you will assist the Product Marketing Team in supporting a portfolio of 25+ products and associated campaigns targeting key audiences and strategic markets. You will work collaboratively with the broader Marketing team and Sales.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining and executing go-to-market strategies and campaigns for new product or feature launches and measure efficacy against key performance indicators
  • Support major product launches with sales enablement, website, and playbook audits, and development/updating of launch communications
  • Assist in developing and executing campaigns aimed at acquiring new customers in strategic markets and/or increasing our engagement with current customers; Measure the efficacy of such programs to inform future campaign goals/tactics
  • Conduct research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends and customer /persona behavior
  • Maintain overall product catalog, driving annual and periodic updates through the production process
  • Prepare reports and presentations by collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing internal and external data
  • Maintain an inventory and directory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are accurate and current
  • Research new sources of prospective customers and campaigns, providing recommendations to marketing leadership
  • Assist with communications updates to Sales team and Slack channel Q&A support
  • Support creation of success stories, participating in end-to-end process of interviewing customers, developing key messaging, assisting with production of narrative, video, social, and other derivative content
  • Support conference and event planning to showcase Teaching Strategies products
  • Assist in executing Product Marketing tasks within the scope of a larger product or project, under guidance from the manager
  • Occasional domestic travel required for in-person team, department, and company meetings

Qualifications:

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Experience in marketing coordination or similar role
  • Knowledge of Product Marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, social media marketing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Planning and project management skills
  • Initiative & persistence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Experience in early childhood education a plus
  • Working knowledge of design software, marketing automation, CRM, webinar platforms, and/or content management software
  • Highly creative, with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
