We seek a highly motivated and self-driven Product Account Manager to join our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop innovative strategies to achieve sales goals and make meaningful connections with our customers.
The Product Account Manager’s duties include handling inbound and outbound calls to and from customers and prospective customers, answering questions, listening to their needs or issues, and providing helpful solutions to their problems. In addition, the Inside Sales Professional will:
- Offer assistance to clients who may be having issues and pass them on to the correct departments, as needed
- Call customers to offer new products or programs
- Review customer accounts and proactively reach out about upgrades or support issues
- Work with colleagues to provide better customer service across the organization
- Set up Zoom meetings and luncheons for our outside sales representatives
Responsibilities
- Be knowledgeable about the product(s).
- Memorize scripts for products and services and refer to them during calls.
- Build positive relationships by going above and beyond with customer service, ensuring that all questions, cancellations, and confirmations are handled appropriately
- Identify prospective customers, lead generation, and conversion.
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
- Research and profile each prospective client before making first calls.
- Create and maintain a record of daily problems and remedial actions taken using the call center database (Salesforce)
- Leverage data and insights gathered by the call center to recommend and influence process improvements
Required skills and qualifications
- Strong listening skills. Able to listen to the concerns of a customer and address their needs.
- Interpersonal skills to work with various people daily, build relationships, and network.
- Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale.
- Communication skills, especially persuasion, to convey the benefits of a product to potential customers
- High school degree or equivalent, college degree preferred.
- Experience working in a professional inside sales position.
- Proficiency in problem-solving
- Strong organizational skills.
- Recommended: No more than 30 minutes travel to the office.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM software a plus
- Expertise in conflict resolution
- Experience in the medical field or insurance sales a plus
