Who We’re Looking For
This role will support day-to-day operations for several key health and life sciences projects, with a focus of increasing access to cognitive measurement and associated interventions to improve health outcomes. This person has ongoing curiosity for social impact topics and wants to deep dive into learning about the latest scientific collaborations and innovations in Alzheimer's Research.
This person is a strategy minded communications expert who can leverage audience insights to sharpen product and program strategy, communications, and partnerships. This is a teammate who will be an independent thinker and problem solver, willing contributor in team settings, a strong driver of process, and get excited about bringing the right attributes together to fuel solutions to big challenges.
Recognizing research is a collaborative discipline with many partners, a person successful in this role will have strong stakeholder management skills to meet long-term client goals and shorter-term project objectives.
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 6+ years' marketing, communications, or Product Strategy experience
Previous work in a Health and Life Science field is preferred, but not required; if no previous experience, excitement and aptitude to learn quickly is a must;
Experience in product and program strategy, understanding how to define the needs and requirements of a new intervention to achieve adoption;
Experience investigating and crafting user journeys, use cases, requirements for adoption;
Experience co-designing solutions and/or applying input from multiple sources in a product or program design process;
Familiarity with multichannel marketing (social, web, email, paid), understanding what makes each channel unique and how to engage audiences in each platform.
Successful account management and stakeholder communication across a range of senior, peer and junior internal team and client audiences.
Track record of quickly building subject matter experience with enough context and credibility to understand client’s business and research domain.
Skills
Strong critical thinking skills: ability to break down an ambiguous problem, develop an approach, Strength in driving process and gaining consensus, supporting execution of key components;
Proven ability to execute research, synthesize insights and generate research-based recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including competency with PowerPoint and Excel (analysis and visualization).
Strong account management skills, including ability to break down work and convey progress, blockers, milestones, etc., to a series of stakeholders to gain alignment.
A focus on driving work forward: working with close collaborators and managing workflows, deliverables, and budgets to ensure on time delivery with high quality.
Client relationship management: working with clients to communicate recommendations, articulate options, review deliverables, and incorporate feedback to continue driving work forward.
Responsibilities
Drive multi-workstream project forward, leading project management initiatives including managing project timelines, coordinating client meetings, and developing weekly summaries. Support team efforts to manage workstreams to projected scope.
Manage stakeholder communications, understanding multi-variable dynamics.
Conduct research (desk research, expert interviews, other) and quickly understand complex health systems landscape to define product-market fit.
Support product and program strategy.

This position is located in Seattle, WA
Formative has a ‘2-3-5 Hybrid Office’ Policy. We ask that all employees who live in the Seattle metro area work from the Formative Seattle office 2 days per week within a 3-day window - Tuesday, through Thursday - each week. Formative employees work 5 days per week as a norm with periodic evening and weekend work when required to meet client deadlines.
Salary Range
$85k - $135k, inclusive of associate through senior manager titles
