About the Role
The Associate Manager provides managerial support to the Accounts Payable Team through Leadership, Tactical Invoice Resolution, Problem Solving and Development, as well as Root Cause Analysis. The process will include Audit, Carrier Help Desk, and Carrier Relations. This role will lead a Team that analyzes the root cause of invoice discrepancies, and work with the appropriate party to escalate the issues as needed for resolution. The Associate Manager must meet or exceed Uber Freight and customer-targeted financial objectives regarding outstanding invoice issues.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Review contracts and carrier documentation to identify root cause of discrepancies
- Correspond internally with Operations, Procurement, and Carrier Pricing regarding rating and accessorial invoice discrepancies as needed

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent
- Minimum two years of AP/Accounting Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Proven analytical problem solving; ability to identify root cause analysis as it pertains to assigned accounts
- Planning and Organizing: Uses time efficiently. Prioritizes and plans work activities. Anticipates situations in advance and prepares to cope with them. Integrates changes smoothly.
