The Global Brand Strategy Associate Director is a vital role that will be responsible for shaping Gastric Cancer indications across early stage and advanced settings. You will be responsible for maximizing the Global opportunity for our immuno-oncology product in Gastric Cancer by developing and implementing launch strategies. You will apply a "One Team" approach as you provide Brand Strategy leadership for Upper Gastrointestinal Cancer, and to the broader Gastrointestinal Cancer Portfolio.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Building strong and actionable value propositions, narratives and launch strategies in early stage and advanced Gastric Cancer. Lead the Gastric Cancer Commercial Excellence Framework (L3) and associated strategic development in close collaboration with the Global Disease lead.
  • Lead and work collaboratively with multiple functional teams including the Global Disease Team, Market Access, Medical, Market Research, Digital Data & Analytics (DD&A), Promotional Review Team (PRT), Key Regional/Market teams, and agency teams to achieve the business aspiration.
  • Know your customers: cross-functionally obtain a deep understanding of customers including drivers, barriers, competitive dynamics, and ecosystems. Initiate brand strategy customer insight market research projects in partnership with Human Health Insights Analytics & Data (HHIAD).
  • Know your product: partner with Disease Teams and Medical to establish a deep understanding of our clinical trials vs competition in order to drive product differentiation.
  • Shape key strategic communication objectives, Omnichannel, and content development for Gastric Cancer customers and measure impact of objectives across multiple channels to continuously improve on the customer experience.
  • Represent Gastric Cancer indications to shape the direction of the Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancer portfolio strategy and optimize the customer experience across the GI portfolio of our Company's Oncology indications.
  • Own the relationship with agency partners to develop customer resources, and lead approval of resources through the Promotional Review Team (PRT) process.
  • Lead the Brand Strategy annual OnePlan in collaboration with the Global Disease Team and manage promotional budgets for Upper GI Cancer indications.
  • Demonstrate "One Team" approach of integrating best practices and facilitating cross-regional learning.
  • Demonstrate our Company's way of working leadership behaviors including building networks, sharing, focusing on the customer, and driving results. Maintain alignment to compliance goals and policies.


Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree required


Required:
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in marketing pharmaceutical products
  • Ability to work through ambiguity to shape a strategic vision
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders across hierarchical lines
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles
  • Campaign and Message Development experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Agency/vendor management skills


Preferred:
  • Master's degree (MBA) strongly preferred
  • Experience in biopharma commercial positions with Global responsibilities, preferably within Oncology, GI Cancer, Gastric Cancers, and/or early stage settings.
  • Experience developing and implementing innovative global marketing and commercial strategies and prior experience launching products is highly desirable.
  • Leading cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment
  • Excellence in senior leadership presentations
  • Experience with managing medical / legal review of customer resources
