Position Title:Associate Design Engineer (P1)

Role
Entry level engineer who produces the products provided by our Structural Analysis process under the direction of more advanced and professionally licensed engineers.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed structural analysis of original, modified, and proposed telecommunication towers; monopole, lattice guyed, and lattice self-supporting structures and produce reports for review and approval by an experienced engineer.
- Work towards ability to perform structural modification design and QA on structural analyses. • Translate drawings to model, ensure accuracy.
- Assist in creating and modifying engineering calculation tools, standards, and training.
- Read and understand new technical documents and standards and implement into work product.
- Effectively communicate with internal partners on information needed to complete structural analyses and designs and communicate results to non-technical audience.
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably specializing in structures
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Zero (0) to two (2) years of structural engineering experience in the field of telecommunication towers or related field
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred
Expectations
- Experience using MS Excel and other general-purpose software, such as MathCAD, for engineering calculations
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Strong written and oral communication skills essential

Working Conditions: This is a remote role with the expectation of on-site collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter. Travel up to 20% may be required. The work plan for this role may align to our hybrid model in the future.
For Colorado residents: The hiring range offered for this position is $62,160-93,240 annually. In addition to salary, employees are eligible for an annual bonus of up to 10% of annual salary. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
