  • Maintain GQ's brand, voice, and aesthetic guidelines across all content and channels.
  • Oversee the content distribution strategy, with a solid understanding across site, organic search, newsletter, social media and paid campaigns.
  • Understand various analytics metrics, and take action to meet targets as needed.
  • Collaborate with the product team and other CN titles to develop the commerce platform, user experience and performance metrics.
  • Team leadership and career development of the content and production teams to develop a best-in-class multi-skilled commerce team that successfully blends creativity with business insights.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least six years of commerce editing experience, including at least three years working on lifestyle and wellness content specifically.

  • Deep understanding of affiliate and SEO best practices.
  • Proven experience managing several editorial staffers at different levels, from top-editing to one-on-one performance feedback.
  • An understanding of and enthusiasm for style as it relates to all categories of shopping coverage.
  • Ability to produce conversational, approachable commerce stories that are factually accurate, and that motivate and inspire readers.
  • Proven track record managing digital editorial lineups of 20-30 high-quality stories per week.
