Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
We are a prestigious law firm based in Roseland, NJ, offering an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned Associate Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Family Law. Immediate Responsibilities: Take on client responsibilities from the outset, managing discovery, pleadings, motions, collaboration, mediation, and all related aspects.
Case Ownership: Demonstrate expertise in handling a client's case comprehensively, from initial meetings to recommending strategies and litigating in the courtroom.
Legal Expertise: Utilize your legal acumen to prepare and draft documents, advise on business and legal transactions, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with legal standards.
Team Leadership: Delegate tasks to paralegals and legal assistants, overseeing their work while maintaining a proactive, resourceful, and ethical approach.
Professional Engagement: Attend court proceedings and government agency appearances in New Jersey, building professional rapport and adhering to legal regulations.
Education/Experience Requirements:
JD degree
New Jersey Bar Admission is required
5+ years of Family Law experience
Experience researching complex Family Law matters
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactiveness, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic
Ability to communicate professionally to internal and external clients
Ability to work independently and multitask required
Previous experience as a trial court law clerk is a plus but not necessary
Ability to build rapport with opposing counsel and/or clients
Personable and professional
