Our law firm has a full-time Associate Attorney position available now and we're looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and litigation associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to existing clients. You'll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date. - Exceeding billable hour requirements.
- Performing Client Needs Assessments.
- Developing case strategic case plans for the client's matter relative to the client's budget.
- Communicating with clients.
- Preparing for and attending court hearings and trials.
- Drafting all manner of pleadings.
- Communicating with opposing counsel and court professionals.
- Drafting correspondence.
- Working closely with support staff to ensure effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- Conducting legal research, preparing for and attending hearings and other legal proceedings, and providing legal counsel with the help of senior Associate Attorneys.
- Keeping files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
- Preparing correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.
- Collaborating with clients, senior associates, and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently.
- Analyzing conflicts in legal matters, advising clients on solutions, and negotiating on behalf of clients.
- Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
- Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action
- Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior Associate Attorneys to provide legal advice
- Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals
- Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff

- Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
