Associate Attorney - Family Law

A Growing Regional Law Firm, a multidisciplinary, full-service practice in Lemoyne, PA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the firm's Family Law practice group, representing individuals with a Family Law challenge including but not limited to cases involving divorce, child custody, spousal or child support, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, PFAs, name changes, and adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Review, draft and file pertinent legal documents, including pleadings and court documents
• Meet regularly and communicate effectively with clients
• Provide expert legal analysis, develop case strategy and arrive at practical solutions for clients
• Work effectively and professionally as part of a team, including colleagues, support staff and others involved in a case
• Obtain and organize appropriate case related materials
• Attend court hearings
• Provide professional and creative options for resolving disputes
• Conduct effective legal research
• Contribute to the growth of the firm

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in PA
• 5 years minimum practice experience in Family Law
• Mature and possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation abilities
• Conscientiousness with high attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Possess skills and comfort using modern software technology to improve efficiency, such as MS Office, PCLaw, and related applications
• US Work authorization is required
• Book of Business is preferred
