Requirements: J. D.

• License to practice law in Illinois.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred but not required: 3 years experience as an attorney. Profeciency in Mandarin Chinese.
What your role will look like: Represent clients in asylum hearings, before state and immigration courts, and in private legal matters. Negotiate, prepare, and revise legal documents. Collaborate with senior attorneys to formulate legal strategies. Provide legal consultation to clients. Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions.
