Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal support and assistance to our clients. Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
• Assist with negotiations and settlements
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
• Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously
• Perform legal administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Illinois bar association
• Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
• Proficiency in Westlaw research platform
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Skills:

• Legal research: Proficient in conducting thorough legal research using various resources such as Westlaw.
• Legal drafting: Skilled in drafting various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
• Negotiation: Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Litigation: Experience in preparing for and participating in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Legal administrative: Capable of handling legal administrative tasks efficiently.
