SalaryOur small but busy law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant/Paralegal.
Responsibilities
- Assist with document management, including filing, organizing, and maintaining legal documents
- Assist with document review and analysis
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as contracts and pleadings
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, closings, and court appearances
- Provide administrative support, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies
Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a paralegal or legal assistant is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and phone etiquette
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures
This is a part-time position but could transition into a full-time position.
