Job Summary:CMTI has a national contract to perform janitorial services at individual Untied States Postal Service (USPS) office locations throughout the country. We are searching for a motivated, self-directed, highly organized individual to help facilitate the on-boarding of new USPS locations. This position will support the project management team in sourcing, screening and onboarding of qualified janitorial staff for each USPS location. The position involves extensive remote management and communication with employees and customers to support several hundred post office locations across the US. The position is extremely fast-paced and subject to demanding hours. It also requires strong telephone and computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Reports directly to the Project Manager to support daily operation of several hundred post offices around the US.
- At the direction of the Project Manager, support the recruiting process of the janitorial staff
- Support candidate screening, training, and on-boarding
- Facilitate the implementation of CMTI’s technology platform in each USPS location.
- Train all new employees on all facets of operations. Training including, cleaning equipment and cleaning techniques, reporting, supply ordering, asbestos, and HazCom training.
- Performs quality control checks when directed
- Provide oversight of periodic maintenance team and adherence to the periodic maintenance schedules.
- Establishes and maintains documentation files in support of the project.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Background in janitorial services a plus
- Background in hiring, recruiting and training of janitorial service employees
- Training in administrative practices.
- Excellent customer relations and communication skills required.
- Proficient with spreadsheet and data processing software. Microsoft Excess, MS Word, and MS Windows preferred. Ability to work within smartphone/tablet environments.
