Compensation - Hourly Rate: $33.00 - $42.00 hour
Schedule: 8AM-4:30PM, Onsite role.

What's a typical day as an Accountant? You'll be:
• Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable function in assigned area of the business.
• Preparing monthly financial statements, detailed account analyses, and accounting reports.
• Consistently monitoring and auditing records in multiple domains; making updates as needed and ensuring that revenue and costs are being appropriately captured and billed.
• Reconciling billing and invoices, checking balances, drafting statements, and maintaining client files.
• Communicating with internal and external customers to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Investigating and reconciling billing errors or concerns and recommending A/R & A/P adjustments.
• Facilitating month-end and year-end close processes and partnering with corporate accounting to ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Preparing asset, liability, and capital entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Supporting internal and external audit processes.
• Actively participating in or leading project teams to improve accounting processes and procedures.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance plus 2 years of experience in Accounting reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of Accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Are detail-oriented and have a high level of accuracy.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Have experience with accounting software (SAP/Ariba/Filemaker).
