Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in the fulfillment of solar installation projects for residential customers. In this role Assistant Project Managers work directly with clients, vendors, and partners to progress and fulfill solar installation projects. You will also assist in managing projects to company standards and drive high performance in project deliverables with residential solar projects.
Responsibilities

• Help with each solar project to ensure we get the necessary approvals with the city, utility company, HOA, etc to prepare to install a solar system on the customer's property and following up on these applications
• Submit applications for permits, utility interconnection
• Follow up on progress, and make outbound calls to the customers as necessary
• Making outbound calls to customers to get their approval at different points in the project and giving them updates as needed
• Communicate with customer about progress of solar installation projects and obtain necessary information and approval
• Update CRM database with appropriate notes and tasks
• Work directly with Project Management to maintain organized and efficient project flow
• Work with Project Manager to develop and review project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards and quotes from suppliers
• The Assistant Project Manager will offer support to the assigned Project Manager through the execution of the full life cycle of the EPC Photovoltaic project
• Preparation of monitoring reports
• Review and validation of invoices
• Coordination of resources to work-site, in coordination with the Procurement department

Requirements:

• This is an entry-level, full-time position and the person to occupy it will be based in our office.
• Site visits to monitor and support Construction Managers at key moments of construction, such as the start of the works, arrival of the main materials, commissioning, etc
• Attend follow-up meetings with clients, contractors, etc
• Preparation of the Minutes of Meetings
• Learning and applying the latest relevant knowledge to the work
