Assistant Operations Manager

MAJOR PURPOSE OF THIS JOB:

Lead the operations team at Ravens Marine, Inc. to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products with no shortages. Focus on continuous process improvement and meeting gross margin targets.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow production schedules for on-time delivery and efficient resource utilization.
• Coach and mentor supervisors to enhance communication and leadership, improving employee morale and retention.
• Support Procurement and Shipping for cost-effective on-time delivery.
• Manage inventory levels for all products.
• Foster a Continuous Improvement mindset within the operations team.
• Maintain facility efficiency for production.
• Identify and address resource constraints for on-time delivery amid business growth.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Mix of office and shop work without air conditioning.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Occasional travel up to 10%.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing tools and processes.
• 10+ years leading Production and Operations in a similar industry.
• Exceptional leadership skills, emphasizing communication and mentoring.
• Ability to collaborate across the organization to address issues affecting product quality and delivery.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
