The Department of Athletics at Kutztown University invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach. Kutztown University is an NCAA Division II member institution which competes in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). The Assistant Coach is responsible to work closely and cooperatively with and under the direction of the head coach to conduct a comprehensive, high quality collegiate athletic program within the guidelines of all rules and policies established by the department, the institution, the conference, the NCAA, the current CBA, and in accordance with the academic standards, stated mission and goals of Kutztown University and the Department of Athletics.
- Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of coaching experience in the sport of football.
- Demonstrated ability in skill development, staff supervision, general administrative duties, and an understanding of NCAA rules compliance desired as well as, prior successful experience in recruiting qualified student-athletes, fiscal management skills, and excellent organizational and communications skills.
- Candidate must complete a successful interview.
- Coaching experience at the NCAA collegiate level.
- Coaching experience at NCAA DII institution.
