JLL is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support our client Webster Bank. You will be centralized in Jericho, NY, and we will provide you with a work vehicle to travel across New York to support our Facilities Managers in approximately 50 retail bank facilities. You will travel for two days and be in the office three days a week. We will provide training!
The schedule is Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. with no overtime or on-call work required!
The salary is $56,560 - 66,560 depending on experience.
What will some of your day look like?
Manage, oversee, and coordinate daily facility management activities such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life/safety system, landscaping, exterminating, BMS, etc.
Coordinate with each site and contractor by requesting proposals, and scheduling and inspecting all maintenance and repairs.
Work with leadership to process invoices, create and edit monthly reports for work orders, budgets, initiatives, and projects, and develop and manage annual operating budgets.
Review proposals for repair and maintenance work and manage the work order process from creating, reporting, to closure. Perform site inspections.
Assist with Pilot Programs, innovations, and special projects, and provide continuous support to our facilities management team.
Establish working relationships with clients and contractors to ensure that Building services are being provided to the satisfaction of building occupants.
Provide instruction and training to JLL personnel, vendors, and contractors.
Who are we looking for?
Those with:
Experience or education in construction, facilities, or property management
A valid state-issued driver's license
A basic understanding of construction and or maintenance such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and building maintenance systems
Computer proficiency in MS Office
Experience working with a work order system is preferred
Having a sense of urgency is crucial in this role
A financial industry background is a plus!
