It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as necessary. IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.

The salary for this position ranges from a minimum of $58002.81 to a midpoint of $75,403.65. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and education | Open until filled

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
The qualifications and skill requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, business management, or a related field from an accredited institution;
- Minimum 3 years professional experience as Manager in resource development; non-profit or higher-education fundraising, foundation experienced preferred;
- Proven effectiveness in all aspects of resource development, including planning, implementation and evaluation of fund-raising direct mail campaigns, print and digital production, and events;
- Proven track record in individual and corporate relationship management including donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship;
- Strong writing skills, with examples of prior solicitation and/or proposal writing;
- Strong graphic design capability in Adobe suite or other creative suite, with examples of prior projects;
- Proven leadership/supervisory capabilities;
- Outstanding analytical skills and problem-solving ability, and organizational and follow-up skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills;
- Strong organizational and human relations skills;
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams;
- Have good judgment in working with sensitive/confidential material, initiative, and persistence in order to collect and obtain the necessary information for foundation reports;
- Must possess ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions;
- The following is preferred:
- Professional credentials in Public Relations and/or Fund Raising;
- Knowledge of Raiser's Edge software.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential job functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Development and implementation of Annual Fund development strategies;
- Assuming a supervisory role in the planning and implementation fund-raising programs, campaigns, and activities for the Foundation, with specific responsibility for the Annual Fund Campaign, Alumni Affairs, Scholarship Funds (annual and endowed), Employee Appeals and Special Campaigns;
- Manage CRM database Raiser's Edge and take charge of other support duties, such as reporting, donor receipting performance and financial reporting;
- Manage the data quality process ensuring donor connections, mailing lists, data records up to date and correct;;
- Manage all direct mail for annual appeals, campaigns and other projects as needed;
- Manage Annual Report and other collateral development;
- Manage aspects of PR, including stakeholder communications, media relations, and business collaborations.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement annual fund-raising programs and campaigns conducted by the IRSC Foundation including Annual Fund Campaign, Alumni Affairs, Scholarship Funds, Employee Appeals and Special Campaigns;
- Manage and implement the design, development, and production of direct mail, publications, displays, presentations and other materials to support the Annual Fund initiatives and activities of the IRSC Foundation;
- Plan, coordinate, and present special events and appeals to benefit the IRSC Foundation and the College;
- Manage a portfolio of donors;
- Represent and promote the Foundation through presentations to civic and community organizations and involvement in designated committees;
- Manage staff reporting from CRM and other sources for purposes of donor stratification, gift strategy and proposals;
- Create and extract reports from Raiser's Edge for informational purposes; mailing; data collection;
- Meet specific KPI's for fund raising, donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship;
- Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Development and/or the Associate Vice President of Institutional Advancement and IRSC Foundation.
