As we continue to grow, we are seeing a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team ad the Director of Business Development.
As the Director of Business Development, this role will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of AlffCo. This person will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets. This position requires a proactive and visionary leader who can navigate complete business landscapes and establish lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Business Development strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for expansion.
- Be a member of the Senior Leadership team to set realistic and achievable Business Development goals.
Sales Leadership:
- Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, setting clear goals and expectations.
- Mentor and develop the sales team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Oversee the development to winning proposals and presentations.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their market needs and ensuring satisfaction with our services.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and strategic partners.
New Business Acquisition:
- Lead the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities in target markets
- Develop and nurture a robust pipeline of potential clients through proactive prospecting an networking.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and clients needs.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing and finance to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, keeping them informed about Business Development activities and progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. MBA preferred. Experience will offset education.
- 5 years of success in a people leadership role
- 7 years of facility management or construction experience
- Proven track record of success in Business Development within the facility management or related industry.
- Strong understanding of facility management services, industry trends, and clients needs.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
- Ability to think strategically
