Assistant Controller

CPL Group USA, Inc. is seeking a full time Assistant Controller to join our team in Long Island City, New York. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field and a high attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple companies within QuickBooks
• Assist controller in various duties, including job costing, cash management, financial reporting and tax preparation
• Corresponding with vendors regarding accounts payable
• Assisting the operations team
• Make check deposits into bank accounts daily
• Prepare financial reports to be provided to management.
• Maintain an orderly accounting system.
• Ensure financial data is entered accurately and correctly.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Highly detail oriented with a strong attention to detail.
• 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
