We are seeking an experienced Assistant Construction Supervisor to join our growing team! You will oversee daily construction management tasks, field coordination and project production activities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Work with our project management team and office staff to execute strategies in the field
- Allocate resources for assigned projects as required
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Oversee site safety
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of field experience in construction management
- Familiarity with construction management software, we use Procore
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- NYC DOB 40HR Licensed Super is a plus
- Trade experience preferred (Carpentry, Concrete Placement, Plumbing, Mechanical trades)
