Our Mental Health and Eating Disorder Teams are comprised of the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Division of Behavioral Medicine & Clinical Psychology, and the Division of Adolescent and Transition Medicine. We provide multidisciplinary outpatient, intensive outpatient and inpatient psychiatric and medical care to adolescents and young adults and are supported by:
32 Child Psychiatrists, including 10 Triple Board Trained Psychiatrists
18 Adolescent medicine physicians
150 Psychologists, including 3 psychologists who specialize in Eating Disorders
44 Psychiatric APRNs
119 masters-level therapists
39 Social Workers providing crisis services in the emergency department
The Eating Disorder Program at Cincinnati Children's is an interdisciplinary, multi-level program serving children, teens, young adults and their families affected by Eating Disorders. The outpatient program housed within the Division of Adolescent and Transition Medicine in partnership with the Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology, and Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, offers evidence based, coordinated treatment from a group of 10 physicians, 3 psychologists, 2 dietitians, 2 nurse care managers and a psychiatric APRN. Annual new patient volume approached 600 new cases and a medical stabilization unit at the CCHMC Liberty campus provided over 1,000 patient days of inpatient medical care to malnourished patients last year. Outpatient EDO services include medical treatment for complications of weight loss or purging, family therapy, individual therapy, one-on-one dieticianappointments, personalized meal plans and medication management.
A generous benefits package includes 5 weeks of vacation, 1 week for CME, relocation if needed, retirement contribution, life/disability insurance, and malpractice coverage. Faculty Rank will be commensurate with experience. Skill in treating patients with Eating Disorders is preferred, but not required, with training opportunities available if indicated.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Child and Adolescent BE/BC Psychiatrist, board certified preferred
- Doctor of Medicine OR Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine OR equivalent
- Eating disorder specific experience is welcomed but not required, supervision and training is offered for support and development
- Unrestricted licensed physician
- Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division
- Completion of all required pre-employment activities
- Strong commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration with experts
- Proficient in proven, evidence-based treatment modalities
- Rank is commensurate with experience
- Prior clinical practice experience may be required based on the needs of the department
