Position Overview: Psychotherapists are responsible for providing individual, family, community of support, and group therapies in a collaborative team environment, as well as participating in our interdisciplinary treatment team. Psychotherapists serve as a professional role model and clinical resource/educator for patient, families, and colleagues.
Schedule:
This position is on site at our RTP Hospital
- Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
- Holiday and On Call Phone as assigned
How Therapists Empower Recovery:
- Carry a caseload of patients (individual and family responsibility per patient) and provide individual and family therapy, as assigned.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups, as assigned.
- Coach individual patient and family meals, when clinically indicated.
- Participate in assigned meals or snacks with the patient milieu weekly, to include meal support and meal coaching.
- Adhere to the Veritas Clinical Philosophy, including providing treatment that is aligned with DBT and FBT
- Participate in therapist on-call rotation as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health
- Clinical Licensure (LCSW, LCMHC...etc) in the state of NC
- Two (2) or more years’ experience in various aspects of social service, with an emphasis on psychiatric work
- A minimum of one (1) year experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and families
