Job Description
The job duties for this position include:
- Serving as Task Lead or Project Manager for relevant Asset Management (AM) projects responsible for project delivery, schedule and budgets.
- Assist Asset Management team with developing all components of Asset Management plans .
- Full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments on small to large projects including performing data analysis and developing technical memorandums/reports of results and recommendations.
- Coordinate and assist in conducting Level 1 (Visual) Field Condition Assessments.
- Participate in strategic business development planning and execution.
- Participate in proposal development.
- Interface with clients as required.
- Assist with review and negotiation of new contracts
- Develop, maintain and grow Asset Management expertise.
- Increase awareness of Hazen Asset Management capabilities both externally (participation in industry organizations, conferences) and internally within Hazen.
- Identify opportunities to apply elements of Asset Management to engineering projects not related to Asset Management.
- Assist in the mentoring of junior staff to ensure that they are meeting their career goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or related business data analytics field.
- 8 years of experience
- Proficient computer skills (Mircosolft Office Suite)
- Database development skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of an organization and clients.
- Ability to work with a team or independently.
- Ability to travel regionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree
- Professional Engineer license
- Project management experience
- Client management experience
- Proposal development experience
- Public speaking experience
- Geospatial analysis skills using GIS (ArcMap)
- Data mining or statistical analysis skills
- Familiarity with comparative economics evaluations
