Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 1pm-9pm

Compensation:We are offering a $1000 Sign On Bonus to the first 10 Applicants. You will receive $500 in first pay check and $500 after 90 days of employment.

$22.50 p/hr. contingent on being enrolled and passing the ARMED GUARD CLASS on or after 60 days of employment. If not enrolled or have passed the ARMED GUARD CLASS, the hourly pay is reduced to $20.50p/hr. until you pass the class.

We have an opening for a full-time Armed Security Officer ( Swing Shift ) in Tempe, AZ. As a full-time Armed Security Officer ( Swing Shift ), you will work with dedicated security professionals in protecting Arizona's Power and Water Grid. In doing so, you'll monitor the status of the facilities and be on the lookout for any changes so that you may identify if something is out of the ordinary.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure operational efficiency of Arizona's Power and Water Grid by controlling access to critical infrastructure.
• Conduct thorough foot patrols around the premises to observe anything out of the ordinary.
• Have a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures, site-specific post orders and duties, and client safety programs.
• Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity in the performance of your duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service while displaying a positive attitude.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail in all aspects of the job to ensure safety and security for all on-site.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, peers, client associates, and the general public.
• Ensure that the security team meets organizational goals for productivity, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Display intermediate/advanced computer skills to utilize the proprietary software on-site (CCure alarm systems and CCTV programs).
• Make ethical judgment decisions while carrying out your responsibilities according to company and client policies.
• Handle sensitive information and material, and in doing so, remain confidential at all times.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and ability to work overtime if and when required or in the event of an emergency.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Armed Security Guard License in Arizona (We can help you with this!)
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• One year of experience in contract security, military, corrections, or law enforcement.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. (We can help!)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States legally.
• Submit a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Possess the minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
• If military experience, must be able to provide a copy of DD-214, Form 4.
